One of the strongest mothers I know must pay $11,000 to her legal team by November 2nd. Any amount you feel moved to give will make a vital difference in this family’s life. I’m asking you to join me today in supporting this family who I’ve known for over 12 years, because no one should ever have to face what they have been subjected to, let alone face it by themselves. In order to keep this child safe, maintaining their anonymity while we do what we can to support them is crucial. This is why I’m personally collecting donations. I have their attorney’s billing information to send 100% of what you give directly to pay off their $11,000 bill on Monday, November 2nd.
This long-fought battle has already forced her into bankruptcy, and now, if these legal fees aren’t paid in full by November 2, they stand to lose the team with whom they’ve built a relationship over many years. They’re faced being left without trusted legal representation to keep an innocent child protected from their abuser for the long term.
